This International Women’s Day, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible women of Northern Uganda who work tirelessly to harvest and make shea butter. Nyowe Ventures, the force behind Livara Natural Organics, is not just a skincare company; it’s a catalyst for change, empowering women in profound ways. Empowering Women under Nyowe Ventures
Under the mother company Nyowe Ventures, Livara Natural Organics has embarked on a journey to empower 100,000 shea farmers, with an overwhelming 80% being resilient women, over the span of 2 years.

Nyowe Ventures is a professional company producing natural and organic oils and butters with special focus on shea butter.

Having started in December 2022, this Women Economic Empowerment project has transformed lives and breaken barriers.

Milestones Achieved
In just ten months, Nyowe Ventures, operating as Livara Natural Organics, has achieved remarkable milestones, each one a testament to their commitment to empowering women:

1. Profiled 100,000 Shea Farmers: Among them, 74% are strong, hardworking women, unlocking their immense potential.
2. Digital Empowerment: Trained and engaged 180 digital community agents, empowering many to earn their first UGX 1,000,000 ever in their lives.
3. Access to Credit: Partnered with two financial service providers, creating accessible credit options and breaking down financial barriers experienced by female shea farmers especially.
4. Training in Agronomy and Literacy: Skilled 40,000 shea farmers in agronomy, post-harvest handling of shea nuts, digital literacy, and financial literacy.
5. Market Access: Facilitated market access, amplifying the impact of shea farmers on a global scale.
6. Agro-Input Support: Made partnerships with two agro-input dealers to provide essential resources for enhanced productivity.
